A lightweight spreadsheet for simple editing. Import CSV or XLSX, edit cells, and export locally.
Lite spreadsheet. Sheet Lite is for simple spreadsheet editing. Advanced Excel formulas, charts, macros, pivot tables, and complex formatting may not be preserved. Basic formulas: SUM, AVG, MIN, MAX - with autocomplete and click-drag range pick (like Excel).
How to use Sheet Lite - controls guide
Use Sheet Lite like Excel. Follow the steps below to edit cells, move around, and work with formulas.
Cells - edit & move
- Click a cell - green border = selected
- Type - start editing that cell right away
- Double-click or F2 - edit existing text
- ↑ ↓ ← → - move between cells
- Tab - save and move right · Enter - save and move down
- Delete / Backspace - clear the selected cell
- Esc - cancel edit (undo typing in that cell)
Formulas (SUM, AVG, MIN, MAX)
- Start with = - e.g.
=SUM(A1:B3) - Type
=su- autocomplete shows SUM; press Tab or Enter to pick - After
=SUM(- click and drag across cells to insert a range likeA1:C2 - Cell shows the result; hover formula cells to see the raw formula
Toolbar buttons
- New sheet - blank grid
- Open file - CSV or XLSX import
- Save to file / Save as - write back to disk (browser permission)
- + Row / + Column - add rows or columns
- Save draft - auto-saves locally every 30s; manual save too
- Download CSV / XLSX / PDF - export without uploading

=SUM( - Drag from A1 to A3 - becomes
=SUM(A1:A3) - Press Enter - A4 shows 60
